SolarEdge Energy Bank Solar Battery System
The SolarEdge Energy Bank is a DC-coupled lithium-ion battery system that avoids the triple conversion penalty, generating up to 10 days of free power every year.
Featuring industry-leading 94.5% round trip efficiency, the Energy Bank can stack up to three batteries on one inverter while avoiding main panel upgrades (MPUs).
With DC oversizing up to 200%, the system allows for faster commissioning and less wiring hassle through wireless inverter-battery communication. Its flexible installation options include wall or floor setups, both indoors and outdoors, with decreased spacing requirements due to UL9540A compliance.
The Energy Bank supports storage only (rate saver), partial, and whole home options. Each battery provides 9.7kWh of storage, stackable up to three per inverter, to offer longer outage protection. With 5kW continuous power and 7.5kW peak, it can run power-hungry appliances like HVACs and pool pumps.
Additionally, the Weather Guard feature in mySolarEdge automatically charges your battery when severe weather is detected, ensuring readiness for storms.
